New American Idol Judge:Kara DioGuardi!
Paula Abdul has gone a little crazy now. Now, she has someone to help baby sit her and explain that they can’t interrupt live tv so she can go get some French toast. Kara DioGuardi has joined the judges panel for American Idol. She will be a part of everything from the tryouts to the final show.
Paula spoke with John Jay and Rich on their radio show this morning. Of course she was tanked and stumbling over words. When asked about the addition to the judges table she rambled off some PC rehearsed answers stating how this is going to be a great dynamic. Then she lets her unrehearsed dialogue spew out.
“I am concerned about the audience and acceptance and uh…we’ll see. It takes the fun out of all the hard work I do to try and get these kids through.”
She’s not happy about this because she is still trying to score her some Simon and now she has a replacement lined up who is sober. This news also spreads that rumor. Abdul is said to be on her way out as a judge for Idol.

Britney & Justin are Back!
The long awaited reunion of Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake has finally happened.
According to the NY Post, the guy who thinks he brought “Sexy Back” (when did it leave?) and Britney were supposed to record a duet on last year’s “Blackout” album. However, Britney had her little breakdown of head shaving and locking herself in the bathroom, with that crazy weave, while running around with that Sam Lufti freak. She failed to show up at the studio for the recording session at Justin’s Virginia Beach recording studio for collaboration.
This time, Spears was present and was even photographed leaving the Conway Studios where the rumored duet took place. Lynne Spears was following her daughter out of the studio and both looked pleased.
Timberlake and Spears were once a red hot item, but broke up in 2002 when the reports of cheating surfaced. Brit was accused of cheating with her choreographer and we all know how well that turned out for her.
Brit’s new album is due to spill on the air waves later this year.
Gwen Stefani gave Birth To a Boy!
Gwen Stefani has finally given birth to a baby boy. The “Holla Back Girl” singer named her second child Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale. Gwen went in for a cesarean Thursday morning at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
“Kingston, Gwen and Gavin Rossdale welcomed the newest member of their family,” they say in a statement. “Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy.
Zuma was born at 12:46 p.m. and weighed a healthy 8 ½ lbs. The couples first child Kingston is said to be super excited. Rossdale was seen taking his son into the hospital and the two began looking for Gwen’s room.
“Run, daddy, run!” shouted a super excited Kingston, who was leading his father along.”
That is the most adorable thing I have ever heard even if this kid’s name sounds like something you’d order at Starbucks.

Demi Lovato’s rockin’ new music video premiered after the premiere of The Cheetah Girls One World, and we loved the video!!!

Ashley Tisdale has a Meeting for Her Next Album
Breaking into laughter as they walked along, Ashley Tisdale and a female friend held hands as they made their way into Warner Bros. studios for a business meeting on Thursday (August 21).
The High School Musical singer/actress is currently working on what will be her second studio album, with her first release Headstrong attaining Gold status.
Back when she signed on with Warner Bros. records, the company had nothing but praise for the adorable 23-year-old Disney star.
“Ashley is that unique young woman whose determination, talent, drive, and great sense of style have made her an icon to young people all over the world,” says Warner Bros. Records’ Senior V.P. of Marketing Lori Feldman. “Add to that a point-of-view and a spectacular voice, and she has the makings of a superstar. We are thrilled that she has chosen Warner Bros. Records as the home for her career as a musical artist.”

Miley’s B-Day Bash – You Can Attend it for $250.00!
Miley Cyrus will finally be old enough to drive on Sunday, October 15th, and she’ll be ringing in her sweet sixteen in an awesome way.
The Hannah Montana starlet will be celebrating her big day by having special bash at California’s Disneyland. There’s also going to be a special fireworks display during what Cyrus calls “one rockin’ night … totally awesome.”
Disneyland is home to Autopia, the Matterhorn and Space Mountain, which is perfect because Miley tells press “I LOVE roller coasters!”
Tickets for the event are $250.00. The public is invited to this birthday extravaganza and all of the proceeds will go to benefiting a good cause, The Youth Service America; a charity which helps improve the lives of people ages 5 to 25. The tickets go on sale starting August 30th.

Demi’s “Get Back” debuts on the Billboard Charts!
Demi Lovato’s debut single “Get Back” has debuted at No. 43 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Charts this week!
We’re totally excited for Demi, because we absolutely love this song!!!
As reported earlier, “Get Back” reached No. 6 on iTunes, so that’s probably the reason for its chart debut.

Zac Efron has left his squeaky-clean school boy image behind for a new movie role.
The High School Musical star is barely recognisable in newly-released shots from Me and Orson Welles, where he is seen sporting a more sophisticated attire for the period drama.
Zac said recently of his post-HSM plans, “I’m looking for something new and exciting to do. I want to do something dark or a comedy.”
“There’s tons of icons that I would love to work with on something new and exciting.”
In the upcoming movie Zac plays a 17-year old who is cast in a young Orson Welles‘ theatrical production of Julius Caesar in 1937.
We can’t wait to see this movie…and we don’t really know what it’s about…lol!

Demetria “Demi” Devonne Lovato (born August 20, 1992) is an American actress, singer and songwriter.
She’s 16!
She is best known for her role as Mitchie Torres in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock and for her role as Charlotte Adams in the short five-minute Disney Channel series As The Bell Rings. She is currently on the Burning Up Tour with the Jonas Brothers.
Lovato was born in Dallas, Texas. She is of Hispanic, Irish and Italian descent. She has two sisters: Dallas Lovato, who is also an actress and singer and is five years older than Demi; and Madison DeLaGaraza her half-sister, who is ten years younger than Demi. Her mother, Dianna Hart, was a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and country recording artist; her father, Patrick, moved to New Mexico after their marriage ended in 1994. He suffered some health problems and rarely sees Demi. But, the father and daughter saw each other for the first time in four years with a surprise visit in February 2008 by Demi. She is currently home schooled by a tutor due to her career.
She started acting at the age of six, when she landed her first series regular role as Angela on Barney & Friends, there she met her best friend, Selena Gomez. As time went on Lovato pursued her singing and instrumental career, and she guest starred on Prison Break, Split Ends (pilot) and Just Jordan.
In January 2007 she landed a series regular role as Charlotte Adams on the Disney Channel original short series As the Bell Rings, which premiered on August 26, 2007 during Disney’s Back-to-School special night. She will soon be starring in a new Disney Channel Original Series called Welcome to Mollywood that begins production in September 2008.
Lovato also stars in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock as Mitchie Torres, which premiered on June 20, 2008. She is also filming a movie with Selena Gomez in Puerto Rico called Princess Protection Program. She is a singer and songwriter as well as a musician, playing guitar and piano since the age of eleven.
Personal Life:
Demi is best friends with fellow Barney & Friends actress Selena Gomez and the pair make YouTube Webcam videos together. When asked a question of how long the pair have been friends, Demi answered “when I asked her to sit on my jacket and draw with crayons (at the Barney auditions)”. She is also good friends with the Jonas Brothers, Meaghan Jette Martin, and Alyson Stoner. Her favorite 2 colors are Red and Black. Just like Jonas Brothers and Selena Gomez, Demi wears a purity ring, only as a necklace.
Demi plays guitar and piano, and writes her own songs, such as “Stronger”, “Open”, and “Shadow”, which has been featured on As The Bell Rings.

David Henrie Records a Song For WOWP Season 2!
Wizards of Waverly Place star David Henrie let National Ledger know he’s just recorded a song for his show’s new season — but as for future musical aspirations like doing an album, he laughs.
“Oh, no. Nooo. I’m not a Jonas Brother. I just did it for fun. I played guitar on the track, and that’s it,” David said.
Henrie’s non-acting goals include directing films of his own.

Corbin Bleu…New Sophmore Album!
Corbin Bleu spoke with Billboard.com, about his new album that he’ll be recording, and he talked a little bit about High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
“There will be a lot of differences with the second album,”Bleu says. “First of all, it’s just more personal. I’m involved in every aspect of the writing. As far as the direction of the music, it’s very different. I wanted this album to have something that was a little bit of rock, a little bit of R&B and a little bit of pop.”
“The R&B has wonderful rhythms and beats,” he continues. “I’m a dancer, and when I perform live I love to dance. So I have to make sure it has that nice kicking bass. The pop sound is to make it a little bit more now, and when it comes to the rock, it makes it very live feeling, very instrumental. I listen to a lot of music like classic rock, alternative, hip-hop, classical, jazz, whatever. So I’m very musical and like to be able to incorporate that into my music as well.”
Bleu, 19, said producer Eric Hudson (Kanye West) is attached to the majority of the project, along with songwriter/lyricist Claude Kelly. So far all three have collaborated on material. Unreleased songs already getting stage time include the ballad “Close,” the anthem-ic rock track “Whatever It Takes” and the R&B-leaning “Champion.” The currently untitled album is due out in February 2009 via Hollywood Records.
Looking ahead to the Oct. 24 feature film release of High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Bleu hints fans can expect big numbers.
“(Director) Kenny Ortega, when he has a bigger budget, he’s going to go for it,”Bleu says. “So we have really huge numbers and a lot of different dance genres including cha-cha-cha and breakdancing. We even have a Bob Fosse tribute. Zac (Efron) and I have a really cool duet called ‘The Boys are Back.’”
